Quilter’s Newsletter Magazine
When Bonnie Leman started Quilter’s Newsletter Magazine in 1969, she was merely looking for a way to turn her passion into a job. It turned out to be the first quilting magazine, and quickly turned into a must-have for every quilter. Now, almost four decades later, it continues to be the undisputed authority—and continues to have the widest circulation as well.
The readership of Quilter’s Newsletter Magazine is incredibly loyal, with some readers having a continuous subscription from its inception until now. The audience is comprised of highly educated, sophisticated, and creative people who find meaning and pleasure in quilting—and who take the subject very seriously.
Since Quilter’s Newsletter Magazine is so central to the quilting community, it’s no surprise that it reaches into quilting guilds and groups—both those that meet physically and online versions so dedicated that members swap quilts through the mail. In addition to serving this community, the magazine also helps to expand it, providing the kind of deep insight and meaningful inspiration that changes someone from merely interested into a dedicated, lifelong quilter.
